In the Uk they only came in blue.
In japan they did 100 red, 100 white and the rest blue. check the VIN plate pic if you dont believe me.
So this is a pretty rare motor, however now SOLD
cheers,
Paul.

Nice one with the sale Paul, I was just reading the heading "Extremely Quick modified 1996 Sti" then wondered how this came about? A Classic feels more Raw then a newage and a lot lighter, but thats all really, and with the list of mods Id say 310bhp ish....

Glad you sold it successfully even if the stats are somewhat embellished

well im glad i sold it before you lot started bitching about it...
you guys on scoobynet always pull everything everyone writes apart. it just makes me not want to come on here to be honest.
just because i dont know as much about some of the technical sides of subarus as some of you people doesnt mean i dont love them or appreciate them or enjoy them just as much. I was as honest as i could be in the advert, i didnt claim a power figure that wasnt true, i just stated it felt quicker than my 350bhp bugeye (which is proven). and it does! which makes it a very very quick car, i couldnt change gear quick enough.
and I looked up the engine, chassis and gearbox codes on the catherine and ken model website and it came back as 555 ltd edition, after doing some digging after thinking they were only available in blue and mine was red, i came across a page on here i think that said they made 100 red and 100 white in japan and it was just the uk ones that were only blue. it all added up to me!!

555 makes money, everyone knows it.
But if you did look it up you didn't read the option code which is the important bit

BKC = 555
BJC = Standard STi
Not that C&K is gospel !
Snet does tend to rip things apart, classics can indeed feel quicker but it's the use of the 555 to add value which pisses people off
