Looks like a nice car mate, i dont normally like the silver ones but like this, the pf7's complement the cars colour, just out of interest is it a type uk or jdm??

It would have been a fair price a few weeks/months ago. But there was a guy in here trying to sell the 2004 STI and claimed as mint for just £8500 and it took a while to sell and think he finally got £7500 for it, which admitadly was a really good buy but thats what it took to finally sell.

Another mate of mine has a mint 2003 STI in Blue with PFF7's with 30K and mint, and a steeler offer him 7K for it in PX against a Hawkeye STI.

I think your more realistically priced than some of these modded classics out there at the moment along with many other deluded people. So I would say give it time and just be open minded with what you might consider to be a wild offer.

p.s Personally love them in silver with PFF7's.

Its uk spec with the prodrive performance pack 305bhp.

Know what you mean RobEvo5 but i'd rather keep it and run 3 cars in the family than sell it for that sort of money. It's actually the girlfriends car,i mythered her for around 2 months and drove past the showroom numerous times before she bought it but really likes the drive and the attention the car gets. She does more milaege now so i've been using it....It's just got one small scuff on n/s/f wheel.

It's how the car came TX...Correct me if i'm wrong but i thought the foglamps were an extra from the factory and the sti's wth the covers have no foglamps behind them.

Bit late in know but here's the link which pre-dates this post... NOT BS

https://www.scoobynet.com/private-sa...pe-uk-ppp.html

Prices are getting even cheaper now as well now - Looking at a 2004 STI in a steeler myself tomorrow for 8.5K with warrant and full dealer facilities.. Will let you know whether its worth the money or not tomorrow.

Another mate of mine has a 2003 STI 33K miles, ppp and a dealer offered him 6-6.5k for it in Px against a hawkeye. again not BS.

This months EVO magazine has an article comparing a 22b v sti 330. It also shows the scoobys sales figures over the last 10 years, and by far the biggest selling year was 2003!
Bugger!

Rob.

IMHO that chap was still selling the car too cheap. I'm sure I can find links to 100's that are selling for the more normal price of £10k+

One of our Kent members got around your price for his WR1 so I would say hang on to it if money is no problem. Just weather the storm and carry on enjoying your car.

That's a really nice example! I think the Silver looks really classy, especially with those wheels. I'm looking for a Blob eye Sti at the moment but unfortunately it's a little out of my price range.

I do have a question regarding the badging though. All of the Sti's I've seen so far have had a pink "Sti" badge in the front grill and metal "WRX" and "Sti" badges on the back. This car doesn't have these and I was just wondering why. Has it just been debadged or was it a delete option when new?

The badge on the rear says STI with the word prodrive underneath..The sti subaru tecnica international badges on the doors are the same as other sti's but the sti is in grey instead of pink(unclear in pics). The car also has the optional foglamps from the factory and i think the pink sti grille badge would of looked out of place when the other badges are grey.

I think that the car would look awesome with the silver mesh grilles and maybe front splitter etc but it's in the girlfriends name, she drives it and likes the understated/classy look.

Incidently i have noticed on one of the other threads in the for sale section that he wants to sell his impreza for a bmw m3 https://www.scoobynet.com/private-sa...ar-o5-reg.html .I drove a bmw m3 04 plate yesterday and although very impressive seemed a bit tame compared to one of these.

Thanks for the info!

If I had another grand to spend I'd be snapping this up! Good luck with the sale.
