Default **** FOR SALE: ScoobyNet Spec C ****

This is a rare chance to own one of the best road going Subaru's currently in the UK, with one of, if not the best, documented history of any road going Spec C.

Litchfield Imports originally imported this vehicle from new (it was one of the first to be registered in the UK) in 2003. After a couple of owners (the first one being a member of a famous UK band!) the vehicle returned back to Litchfield Imports. Anyone that knows of Litchfield's impeccable reputation for quality and service, will recognise that cars sold from this company are some of the best in the country.... suffice to say we had no hesitation in purchasing this vehicle.

The Spec C was then used as the Official ScoobyNet Project Car over the next 3 years. This involved fully documenting various stages of modification to aid the community with a wealth of information on this subject.

Full details on this car and what has been specifically done to it can be found within fully documented articles on ScoobyNet here -> https://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-...roduction.html.

As part of the project work, the car has been supported by some of the biggest and well respected names in the Subaru tuning industry:
  • PowerStation
  • AET Turbos
  • Litchfield Imports
  • ScoobySport
  • API
  • Tracktive Solutions
  • Lateral Performance
  • Turbo Dynamics
  • ECUTEK
  • Racelogic
  • PSI3
  • Scott Lowe
Whilst the vehicle is road going (and road legal) one of the main areas this car excels in is on track. The car has had a number of achievements over the years with ScoobyNet:

2006
1st Place @ ScoobyLive handling
4th Place @ TunerGP

2007
5th Place @ ScoobyLive handling
13th Place overall @ Ten Of The Best (handling)

Vehicle:
The base car is a 2003 Spec C Subaru and has had a no limits budget thrown at it to turn it in to one of the best road going Subaru's in the country. The car is currently running 530bhp / 550lbft, totally reliable with a proven track record that has been fully documented on ScoobyNet, at recent events since 2006 and in magazines.

I know it would cost a fortune to get it the way you have it, as I have done similar myself and know the costs involved and I still haven't finished spending on mine

Just completed (possibly the last in my hands) a photoshoot today! Car will be fully featured in Performance Tuner shortly!

Standard interior going back in next week, along with the Type25 road car suspension settings. The race interior alone set me back over £2000.

Is it sold then?

Why the road interior going back in? Surely its new owner is going to track it at every avaliable opportunity?

Dill,
Nope not sold yet.

Race interior will still be available with the car and only takes an hour or so swap over.

Does this have DCCD? and is it DCCD-A or just DCCD if it does?

Would this be sold as a private sale, or a trade sale by Litchfield/Scoobynet?

Just putting the rear interior back in has totally transformed the car, noise wise. It feels so much better without the added "motorsport" effects! Still to fit the front standard interior, and if I am honest I need to do some serious thinking as the car may stay now, for the time being. Will make my decision at the end of the week.

Marmski,
Yes, it has full DCCD-A.

Car will be a private sale, but should this be firmed up at the end of the week (i.e. the sale is still on, bearing in mind what I have just said) the car will be available to view at Litchfield Imports.

Decision made (and the car was actually going to be bought by an ex EVO owner had I finally decided to sell).... the car is now staying. The interior and suspension changes have transformed this car now, and as a road car it is nigh on perfect..... so much, I just can't get rid.

Current spares from the original 2ltr engine will soon be available for sale though, including the race interior (although the carbon fibre interior has been provisionally sold to at least 2 people already lol).

Shaun, looks really clean with the stickers removed, the pull to the dark side will be too strong

It may be getting sold again now.

The pull to get something different is getting strong again. I can feel the EVO calling me.

At least it is back to full road trim now though.

If I buy an EVO it will HAVE to go this time. Time will tell.

Either perhaps.... which is about as big as a decision as it is to actually sell the Spec C.

I have finally decided to keep the Spec C for now. So this sale is well and truly off for the time being. Now prepping the car in readiness for ScoobyLive.

Thanks for the communications from all that showed interest.

Regards,
Shaun
