Subaru Impreza AWD 2000 uk

SUBARU IMPREZA - £3700 ono
T reg, 93500 miles, loads of receipts and service history, 4 previous owners, mot & tax til 4/07. V5 present, upgraded exhaust and air panel filter.

Reason for selling: Downgrading to Impreza Sport for financial reason.

This car has alarm, immoboliser and an active tracker fitter to it.

Mechanically: I have recently had this car serviced and it is running brilliantly. It has no known faults and is exactly what you would expect from a Subaru Impreza. It has loads of service history and receipts of work carried out while i have owned the car and from previous owners. I have changed the air filter from standard, to a green panel air filter for extra air filtering.

Bodywork: It has a few very small dings in the body work which can only be seen from certain angles, there is a scratch across part of the bonnet but very easily repairable, will get it done before end of auction if i have time. The sideskirts are in poor condition and need re-spraying, the previous owner must of had them sprayed on the cheap as the job they have done isnt very good and the paint is peeling off quite badly, have asked the local bodyshop about it and they said its very simple job to fix but yet again i just dont have time to sort it out myself. BUT i am currently getting bigger sportier skirts sprayed at workshop and if i get right price for the car will include them in the sale.

Interior: The interior is in very good condition, pretty much standard, will try and get it valeted before end of auction, but again it depends on time. I have upgraded the front speakers to kenwood (if i remember correctly) and the rear speakers to JBLs for a much better than standard sound. There is a sub and amp in the boot but that is not included in the auction.

Other information:

The car has Subaru mudflaps on it, i can take these off if they arent to your taste.

The windows at the back are tinted but the tints need to be replaced as i have scratched them accidently but i have 2 spare windows with good tint on which i will include in the sale. The front window has scratches going down it, but again, i have got a spare one to go on but just havent had time to get them all put on, again it will be included in the sale.

I have just put lexus style lights on the rear of the car but have the originals if you do not like them, in fact they will prob be back on the car very soon as i dont even like them!!!

Wheels: The alloys are off of a newer age impreza, i upgraded from 16 inch gold wheels to 17inch silver wheels. They all have top of the range F1 tyres on them with loads of life left in them, the front 2 have only been on a couple of months.

is air-con that important?

i'm selling mine at the moment and someone. asked me the same.

when i said no - he said the wife wanted air-con and he backed out.

TBH Carl - it is but then its not - I was the same with mine all out for one with air con but then settled for one without but in the bast colour IMO - air con would be nice but for the sake of 3 days a year not bothered

 

Yes, i think so, hot summers and such - it is a real bonus, the thing is, a lot do have it and given the choice, same car and condition, etc i would go for the one with aircon.

Couple of questions

Any strange noises from the engine or box?? Whines, knocking???

Any rust anywhere??? My last 99 went around the windscreen

Did you have the belts done on the last Service??

Have heard no knocking or banging or sqeeuling or yelling!!!

Can see no rust anywhere, would have included it in descruption if i had.

Cambelt was changed by previous owner and at last service it had i wasnt told it needed changing so its fine.
