Default Update

Thanks for the replies and the PM's. Regarding general questions on price, I know standard bugeyes are going for cheaper than £11,500. However this is a modified limited edition car!

Here's a couple of other UK300's for sale for comparision:

Used Subaru Impreza 2.0 WRX UK300 Ltd Edn Saloon 4dr - Sparshatts of Botley Ltd

Used car mart - Subaru impreza, mansfield, subaru impreza uk300 find cars, boats, motorcycles, trucks & vans online

Plus there are 3 currently on subaru UK's list between 11 & 13K

Best regards,

Ian

Default Price?

Hi Andy,

Of course the price is subject to some negotiation, but I'm sure if you saw the car, you'd realise the asking price to be fair.

I may make a contribution towards the road tax for the lucky buyer given today's budget announcement!

best regards,

Ian

Wink Suspension

Hi Andy,

The suspension certainly isn't mega hard, though it's approx 25mm lower than standard and far better controlled than standard. Have you been in / driven any standard Bugeyes?(I notice you've only recently joined Scoobynet) The ride is set rediculously high to enable Subaru to sell them in the USA (as they have a requirement for snow chains).

My daily drive to work is 16 miles cross country run (mainly B roads) of twisty badly maintained british roads, and I've not loosened a filling yet!

Long drives aren't a problem other than the funny looks you'll get for the permenantly fixed grin!

Best regards,

Ian

p.s. For someone who say's they're not too good with computers you've done well to get smileys in your posts already !

Default Diffuser

Hi Rich,

It was a Subaru option back in 2001, complete with body coloured side pieces. I'm not sure if you can still get them. I've not got the part no. unfortunately.

It's not really a diffuser (it just looks like one from behind), it's open to the front so probably add's drag!

The one fitted to MY06 onwards Sti's is a proper rear diffuser.

Best regards,

Ian

Cheers Ian

Been thinking about a very subtle kit for my S202, nothing crazy like that yellow one and i thought a rear diffuser would look good. Thanks for trying and best of luck with the sale. Someone will have it, its a gorgeous car!
