Why not just tell the wife that she can't have a conservatory........OR........
ask her what she's prepared to sacrifice...........Or......better still, refer her to the new laws of erecting a conservatory, you cant just stick one up anymore, 9 out of 10 are requiring planning due to new neighbour and boundary legislation.

Unless, that's just a smoke-screen and you're under the thumb like most of us on here .

skoosh.

What is it with women and scoobies. Everytime money is involved the car is their bloody punchbag.

Heard it from my mates missus, heard it from mine (the old 'its me or the car'*)

*I still enjoy riding my bugeye - You guys who know me, know which bugeye won!
