Its with great saddness that im having to break my type R 500+bhp project so near from completion.
A lot of the cars goodies have already gone to friends but i do have my engine still up for grabs.
It was built by Autosportif and i have all recepts of proof.
Since being built it has travelled aprox 10,000 miles.
Some of that 10,000 miles was spent with it only running a TD04 Andy forest hybid, and developing 318.8bhp & 310lbs @ 1.1 bar of boost
The rest of the 10,000 miles its was on SR50 (if memory serves correct) turbo, with it ran 414.8bhp & 400lbs @ 1.3 bar of boost
According to Autosportif,it was built as a 650bhp engine due to the liners involved, but i planned to run at a safe 500bhp which is around the max for one of these blocks without the help of the liners im told.
So the spec is as follows.......
STI8 block,machined,liner fitted,then rebore to 92.5mm (making it fractionly over 2.1L)
Main bearings
Long stroke 2.5l billet crankshaft
Omega 92.5mm oversized pistons and rings
Steel Arrow H section conrods
Modified Uprated Big End Bearings (inc. mods to con rods)
Baffled Sump
Steel multilayer Head Gaskets
ARP Head stud conversion kit
Uprated fuel pressure regulator
Uprated fuel lines (with parallel fuel rail conversion)
Uprated breather system (with oil catch tank)
44o injectors (was planning on fitting 740's but run out of money)
So there you have it,the engine is all complete except for spark plugs,so it can fit straight in.
As you can see from the boost settings it has never been pushed and never quarter miled etc...just really looked after.
It hard for me to put a price on this to be honest
But i know its the rules on here so ill say £3000 for now and see if im shot down........

BUMP
Amazed this hasnt been snapped up yet......a 5K rebuild with 500bhp+ potential, and only just run in.
Guess timeing is the thing.....gotta wait for someone to blow up
Would just like to add that our very own Simon (jolly green monster) was the last guy to map this lump and said it was a very good, strong engine.

Hi
Not trying to be rude, (I've had some experience with cheap chisellers on other sites) but I am just embarking on a rebuild project on my spare engine, however yours is attractive, problem is I have a max budget of £1850.
I have the cash but just can't justify going any higher.
Let me know
cheers
