Very Low Mileage, less than 10,000 miles!
Was fitted to my car when I bought it, been fitted as part of a 2.5 upgrade by the previously owner. Invoice to prove.
The invoice shows the turbo to be a MD195S, which is a Turbo Dynamics Hybrid. The actual turbo housing is stamped as a VF28, see pictures. Certainly the inlet side turbine is quite different to the normal VF28 again see pic’s. This is a very responsive turbo when fitted to a 2.5.

what power is it rated to roughly ?

 

This was running a claimed 360 BHP, on a 2.5 when I bought the car. This was with 440cc injectors, at max duty cycle.

TBH, I think the original claim was a bit hopefull, but what it would have made with the re-built engines bigger spec, and 740cc injectors, maybe then 360.

 

so not really much more than a td05-16g i am going for hks f con pro + 550cc injectors so i need a turbo to easily run 350bhp on a 2.0 with 1.3bar max????

 

This same turbo on my old standard sti 2 litre engine made 389 bhp @ 1.6 bar, so will easily make 350bhp @ 1.3bar
