Fuel rail conversions to -6AN threads
Your own fuel rails converted to -6AN on all ends, either straight of 90 degree elbows, re-plated, from £60 pair. Also parts available for parallel fuel feed conversions.

Hi, thanks for the enquiry....
The main reason for converting the fuel rails is when you have changed the fuel regulator for a remote type like an SX. The pipework on the Subaru leaves a lot to be desired, many joins with rubber pipe/steel pipe/clips etc, potentially lots of leaks especially with increased fuel pressure.
Most people use the opportunity to upgrade the whole system to -6 stainless braided 200 hose with Goodrige alloy threaded fittings, also many convert to a parallel system rather than the rails being in series, this is supposed to reduce the fuel starvation from No4 cylinder at the end of the series run (by the regulator) which reduces the chances of it running lean and detonating No4.
Hope this makes some sense
Will post some pics:

just got mine back this morning, pure sex.
seems a shame to cover them up with an inlet manifold!
Im guessing the system should be:
line from SX regulator to "T" piece
T piece to left hand rail, T piece to right hand rail,
left hand rail to right hand rail.
effectivel making a circle with a line off to the regulator.
is that about right?

Pure sex
My wife said the same when she collected them from the platers! (well not quite but she did say they looked fantastic!)
Doesn't matter at all but basically the feed from the filter goes to the middle of the T piece, out of each end of the T to one end of each rail, from the other end of each rail to either side of the SX, bottom of the SX back to the tank.

full conversion prices:
Here are the prices:
Modify your fuel rails £60
T piece to split fuel feed £12
3m 200 hose @ £20/m = £60
6 off 90 degree -6 fittings @ £17.50 ea = £105
4 off straight -6 fittings @ £7.50 = £30
2 off hose end finishers @ £5 = £10
3 -6 adaptors for the SX = £10
all prices inclusive of VAT
postage say £10 insured
You might be able to make a some saving if you can use straight fittings in place of the 90's
You would normally use 4 x 90's on the fuel rails, 2 x 90's on the SX returns from the rails, 3 straights on the T piece, 1 straight on SX return outlet.
To give you a comparison on my prices, a 90 degree swept fitting is £18 + vat = £21.15 from Demon Tweeks. -6 200 hose is £23 = vat/m = £27/m
I know it's still expensive but it does make a professional job of the fuel system.

Martin, I'll be needing some ph1 done as I'm changing my manifold from rear entry ph1.5 to front entry ph1. I'm in no hurry, when I take them off the doner manifold I'll get them down to you.
P.S. you needing any of these 'box bits ?

OK John, just send them when you're ready bu cut off all the excess pipework close to the fuel rails, saves on postage etc!
Yes, I need:
2nd gear cog
1st/2nd gear selector fork
input shaft which incorporates 1st, 2nd & reverse gears.
a synchro hub for 5th gear which might be same as others?
3 little oblong bits that go inside a synchro hub!
I will do the teeth count for the gears today.
Cheers,
Martin

Yes John, definitely, and you want some fuel rails converting too? PM me your phone number and we can discuss the details! I've been rather busy chasing up lots of other bits to get the car ready for Mull!
