Its with much regret i am putting my EVO 5 up for sale, i really don't get the use out of it....Im lucky if i drive it once a week so for that reason Ive decided to sell.

The car was imported from new by Toyota UK and was undersealed and waxoyled from day one. Today's current mileage reads 32700 miles but the engine has only covered roughly 15k.
The reason for the the low mileage of the engine is because a previous owner popped the original Evo 5 engine at 17k playing with the HKS boost controller. The car went to Power Engineering for a replacement engine, which came from an Evo 6 RS which had just been run in with mileage of only 1000 miles.

I have all the receipts to back up anything that has been done to the car including the engine change and all previous MOT's backing up the current mileage.....it also has a Full service UK history and the original spare set of keys.


Outside the car

The outside looks pretty stock apart from a set of "18 Rota GTR's with Falken tyres although slightly lowered on a set of springs.
The only down side to the outside is the usual stone chips to the front of the car....bumper and bonnet and a small scratch on the rear boot, but IMO that doesn't take to much away from the overall condition of the paint which looks stunning when polished.

Inside the car

The major change inside the car lies with the interior. A previous owner had the seat's and doorcards retrimmed in grey and yellow leather at a cost of £1800(receipt for the work)
No this isn't to everyone's taste and to be honest wasn't to mine when i first bought the car but grew on me. I recently put the interior up for sale/swap on MLR and had a lot of serious interest so if someone doesn't like the interior its easily sorted.

Also on the inside are very light tints almost unnoticeable.

A OMP Cromo steeringwheel with an NRG slimline boss and a Sparco quick release kit.

Pioneer headunit with bluetooth and remote control and a multi changer fitted in the boot.

HKS EVC4 boost controller fitted where the ashtray once was.

Ralliart gearknob.

Security is a Laserline alarm/immobiliser

Under the bonnet.

The history shows a remap and dyno plot showing 335bhp on 97 ron and an uprated fuel pump. Apart from that and a HKS IK its pretty stock...The exhaust is a HKS dragger.

The car also has an AP clutch and the AYC is perfect, light comes on and goes back out.

Ive added a carbon cam cover, carbon spark plug cover and a carbon rad cooling panel.....Its pretty mint under the bonnet!

I only taxed the car at the start of this month, the MOT runs out the 14th of next month but there will be a new 12 months MOT added.

Due to the low mileage and condition of this car im asking £5900....Yes 5's can be bought cheaper but as they say...you get what you pay for..

TBH Gaz, i was going to have a break when i bought that classic i got tucked up on from here but decided against it...

Then was having a break just before i bought the EVO...this time i think i will tho.
I never really drive it, it just sits there unless the Mrs uses it and then it only does really short journeys.

If it doesn't sell then im not fussed, im not selling for financial reasons, only because it hardly gets used.

The Mrs wants me to buy her a DC5 tho..

DC5 is a nice car. Performance & comfort + you can rag it to death everyday!

Its time for a break Ryan, ive been doing this modding lark for the best part of 25 years now..The only break i really had was about 10 years ago with a Landrover Freelander...

 

I can fully appreciate where you are coming from Jay,with doing my own cars since gaining a license and modding/painting everyone's else's to boot I feel like I have been modding for a century
