Still available
Looking for a nice impreza part ex.
Can be a 3dr classic to new age. I'm quite open minded
I've got my eye on a couple in the For sale section I wouldn't mind having a nose around at so I'm also open to offers
Cheers

Hi all,
I've just spent around 3 hours giving her a Megs next gen shampoo and Megs Tech wax.
Comes up stunning so should rule out some peoples doubts about has the yellow faded etc hopefully as I've had a few asking. Every panel is stunning and hopefully the close up pics show this.
Here is the photobucket slide show with 44 various pics: Here
And here is a few linked:
Plenty more close ups in the slideshow for those interested :smthumbup
Regards

Very nice!! Stunning example. Excellent colour combo. I was never sure about the yellow on the earlier evo 7/8 which was a lighter shade of yellow than on the 9. Whereas your's is a proper bright ferrari yellow and perfect with the dark and carbon extras. Makes me re-think whether I should have gone for an evo instead of my subaru. How much power is it outputting? Shame you have to sell.

Thanks mate, I will be sad to see it go but want to put some of the cash into the house renovation but will still try and keep a toy
Just over 400 @ 1.8bar, 350ish at 1.4. Got the graphs so will get the exact figures.
I know what you mean, the earlier Evos are more of a custard yellow.
Cheers

Tax is just over £200 for a year.
The old graph I have:
BHP figure is at the wheels (301.3) which converts to just under 400bhp at the flywheel due to the transmission losses. This however was at 1.70bar.
The car is now mapped to 1.85bar of boost and I had a different induction kit and exhaust fitted since the rolling road graphs.
The tuner stated with the additional boost and more breather friendly mods the car will be running in excess of 400bhp and it felt a much smoother power delivery when he was out mapping the car to accomodate the new mods.
Torque is 382ft/lb on old graph, maybe a bit more now.
To be honest, I could really do with getting it on the r/r for its exact figure since the additonal mods.
Cheers

I usually get 180 miles to the tank, sometimes 200. This is with no motorway miles.
The tank takes approx £60 (vpower only)
It's a great daily drive (drives as standard off boost, clutch is nice and not heavy, Eibach springs and Billie dampers offer a comfy ride but with nice stance) but for me it is mainly a weekend car (sometimes not even that, hasn't been out the garage for almost a fortnight for other than a few mile run and wash/wax). Unless if the weather is good, then I find it hard to go to work in a 1ltr 3 cylinder Corsa (the evo is a second car)
No known faults from me, I've owned 2 Evo 9 GT's, a 8MR and a 7 Extreme. More often than not standard Brembo discs can warp, I've had performance friction discs and pads fitted on this and 2 previous Evo's, the Extreme came with AP's as standard so was no need to change the brake setup on that. An issue with my 8MR was the 3 ACD lights coming on with the dash which was due to a AYC pump fault (ended up being the pressure switch thankfully). The GT's have RS drivetrain so doesn't have AYC so I've not had the 3 ACD light problem. Cant think of any other common issues I've had with any of them. Writing this, I'm wondering why I am selling. If it wasn't for the house extension/renovation it wouldn't be for sale, the only time I've spent on the car is for modifications (carbon bits etc), servicing or petrol/tax etc. Its never had to go to a garage for diagnosing a fault or repair.
No problem, anything else just ask.
Cheers
