Default Decisions, decisions..

Of course I did the right thing, and chose the Lambretta!
(What else would you do on a day like today?)

Not that I'd had a chance to do the drinking beer bit today.

No, they are like other chaps' wives. I have access to them..
And the Lamborghini is ridiculous. Pig in traffic. Impossible to park. It's 321 go or nothing. Mind you, when it goes....

Actually the Murcielago is surprisingly comfortable. It's slightly stressy in traffic, surging a little in first gear, then dropping into second when you flip the paddle with a jerk. I found it's best to short shift in traffic as it pulls well in just about any gear.
When you drive it like you mean it it's fabulous, coming into its own over 4000 revs where the paddle shift makes sense. Fast, and shrinks in size on the move.

Hopefully better than when it arrived!
It had an absolutely full race cam in it, great fun of course but hopeless in traffic. We've had the motor out for a decent look at. We've fitted a milder cam, with matching skew gears this time, and an organic twin plate clutch.
We've also fitted an MSD distributor with a CDI box. It sounds and feels a lot better, I'll be setting it up this week.
It gets attention, that's a fact.
