Lordys addition to his fleet
Just thought I would treat myself to a new toy
Before the humiliation starts
I still have my Greenwagon and it's got a new mot certificate for its thirteen birthday since I got it new
So I haven't deserted Subaru completely
So on my shopping list was a BRZ but it is just too low for me as I'm Er ,....not as agile as I used to be and was struggling with access to it ,so bang goes my 2 str sports car for a mid life crises
STi was a strong contender especially at a bargain price of 27k but 23mpg £490 rfl put me off slightly as I'm planning to go part time working in the future so will be watching the pennies in the future
I loved the x6 but running costs and the fact the misses would struggel to park it put me off then something new came onto the market on Feburary
Wanted the new wrx but with maybe 2 years to it comes out and no guarantee of Subaru will import it or be in the uk got this as a stopgap
Petrol
Only 200 BHP
0-60 7.6
Top speed 144
36 mpg
High up driving position and visibility
Like the alternative looks
Hatchback For carrying
Well equipped could only order armrest and window deflectors
Value for money
Delivery on the transporter
Nice view of the exhaust
Goodbye old L40URD hello new L40URD
Misses getting excited and tried to dress in the Nismo colours
Love the agressive front end
Love the flared arches and curves
Lucozade was extra
Love the seats as comfortable as my recarros on my RS turbo 22 years ago
Grippy steering wheel red topped
Stop start
Connect 2 computer / sat nav
Eco / normal and sport mode
Nismo badges everywhere
Just done 900 miles in 2 weeks and its counting down to the magic 1000 miles then the fun starts but early indications are its very fast and handleing (2wd) is amazing for a high up car
Very firm ride reminds me of my classic scooby on stilts / steroids
Well that's my confession over so the abuse starts

Thanks for that guys
Was expecting to wake up to loads of abuse
It's the little things like auto lights ,auto wipers ,one touch button to open it ,no key ,push button start and the amazing connect 2 which I haven't even worked some of it out yet but you can send it an email in the house and it will plan your route before you even get in the car .
Quite a different feel to the wrxd that I part exchanged which was a great car with 48mpg as the ride is very firm ,you do feel the potholes at low speed so not a relaxing sort of car to drive but its less body roll then the wrxd that I really like
Revs like crazy and very short shift gear box means your changing up to 6 gear very quickly but I like the gearbox and very tractable in different gears
Power is similar to the accord sport v -Tec we use also and after 4k revs it's like another turbocharger bolted on It's gong to be fast once ran in and as a passenger You have the thrown back in your seats feeling that the classic gives me that the new age hatch didn't
Paint is storm white which is a pearlescent and has a glitter in it ,but will be a nightmare to touch up when I get stone Chips on it
The camera is amazing when reversing just looking at the screen and takes a bit of getting used to after a lifetime of looking back and checking your mirrors strange how it lines everything up yet doesn't beep like normal parking sensors great in the dark when I reverse up my driveway into the garage !
love the juke R so if my numbers come up And I have a spare 400k I might treat myself to one but otherwise quite happy with this ......for now
It will be at the NBO but in the B- SPOC stand with thier amazing variety of motors and the Greenwagon will be on the Cumbria scoobs stand as normal

Very nice Lordy! Well my Wagon has gone (only down the road to a friend who has wanted it for years). I must be more nimble than you cos I bought a GT86 (preferred to the BRZ ride-wise). Anyway, it's built by Subaru. Love it to bits!
Enjoy the Nismo!!!

I like these! I had to get a higher off the floor car at the age of 22 as I had both hips replaced(done both same time)! I was offered one of these or a Mitsubishi asx! Shoulda picked the juke! It's just smarter looking I think but not sure the stop/start in traffic is great.....fuel miles goes up you travel 10 odd miles down road and it goes back to wear it was!!

Like for like its as fast as my Wrxd 200 Bhp against 180 md range similar
0-60 slightly faster and more flexibility in higher gears and no turbo lag
Corners better then the Wrxd and more exciting to drive up to 90 mph
It's a very exciting car to drive and just love the higher up seating area which
Is so important to me now for access

The Nismo all striped up ready to go
6500 miles now and running well 37mpg and is a very exciting car to drive can't fault it
But
It was getting lonely and sometimes I could do with a more executive style of car for certain Buisness meetings and long distance and taking out my mother for day trips and the accord was getting on in years so decided on a
Civic EX GT 1.8 vtec petrol
Top of the range with leather ,panoramic.roof sat nav and many other gadgets to keep me happy brand new and a great discount from my favourite dealer Stan palmer
Dash board is amazing like being in a space ship
Full leather and electroc adjustment too
Topaz yellow but more like a light green with Tints
Keeps the Nismo company at nights in their cold garage
Decisions are getting hard
Civic for luxury
Nismo for fun
Ir do I go for ***** out old school classic to really make me SMILE
Life can be confusing at times
