Black or crem leather on a white car
#5
I have ordered a white bmw 5 series with black leather and it has arrived with cream leather. I have told the dealer I am not happy and want a black interior but this is going to be a new car so 8 weeks delivery.
My wife thinks the cream nice and to keep it. A mate said tell the dealer to put m sport wheels on it and keep it but in my head I think I want black.
What would you do

Make them change it if you're not happy. An eight week wait's better than always regretting not swapping it (and possibly selling the car later on due to it)! If you purchase a new car it needs to be exactly as you want it.
I think cream and white would look too pale together plus don't the 'whites' kind of clash with each other? It will get dirty easy too.

Mate, if I'd ordered a new 5 series and they got the colour of the leather wrong I'd ask for m sport wheels anyway because of the 8 week wait, just tell them you've just seen a lovely Audi

Black leather and tell em as its their fault you will run around in that one until yours arrives.
Heard loads of stories that BMW service has gone down the pan cos they can sell more cars than they can make. Look out for bits falling of it!

If its Oyster, I'd avoid it...have Oyster leather seats on our 5er and it ain't half a bitch to keep clean. I thought magnolia was bad, but this by far the worst.
PS nothing has ever fell off any of our BM's: Although the current one (3yrs old) did have a sticky sunroof and flickering taillight - sorted under warranty. And I've had word the rear spring have snapped on my old 325 (sold it a few years back), which isn't surprising considering its a ten year old car and its been used to shift loads of heavy crap on a regular basis..that's why the current one has air suspension instead
