Great cars - my mate had a black one.
New rear tyres after 4k miles and averaged 15mpg.

Good fun, and always sideways!!

They did have a few white ones in stock, but no, they weren't all white!

Yep Zip, I read that before we got it. Did your friends have the LSD or do they drift fine with the open? have had it a touch sideways but not tried hard yet.

Hoping she gets more than 15mpg as she managed over 25 average in the 5.5l CLK we px'd

His had the Power Pack on it, so I assume it had the diff?
To be fair, I'm sure he could have got better (slightly!) mpg out of it, he's just a bit of a hooligan.

That said, I'm only get 19-22 out of my Spyder, and that's only a 3.4.

The earlier performance pack ones had the LSD but the 2010 onwards it changed to the performance pack plus (Red callipers and 1/2 alcantara steering wheel give it away) and the LSD was then an option.

Nothing wrong with being a bit of a hooligan

I would have thought you would get more than that from the Spyder!

His was an 11 plate with red calipers - pretty sure it had the LSD.

The very best I've had from the Spyder was 30 mpg on a long run to north Wales, the noise from the PSE is so addictive that it spends most of its time in 3rd gear, hence the low consumption
