Default RX-8 Compression results

Below are your compression test results that have been normalized to 250rpm already
The results are in kPa

Your actual cranking speeds are as follows
Front Rotor 270rpm
Rear Rotor 272rpm

Front Rotor
First Chamber [680,830] : 701.63
Second Chamber [680,830] : 668.33
Third Chamber [680,830] : 694.04
Chambers Difference [<150] : 33.3

Back Rotor
First Chamber [680,830] : 694.46
Second Chamber [680,830] : 665.78
Third Chamber [680,830] : 719.35
Chambers Difference [<150] : 53.57

Rotors Difference [<100] : 17.72

The ideal figures we should be looking for are between 680kpa and 830kPa [680,830]

All seems healthy

Seeing loads of these cheap at the moment.
Are they bad for reliability or need an engine rebuild at low mileage or something?

because they are unreliable and sh1te and have engine compression issues that need expensive rebuilds and do less mpg than imprezas and use more oil than an old tractor.

Just fitted a stainless Toyosports cat back exhaust to our RX8, at least it now sounds a bit more like something sporty...Exhaust was from Ebay, £140 delivered, excellent quality welding and fit.
