I looked at some twin turbos earlier this year, but couldn't find 'the one', ended up buying a Merc instread, but would still have a Supra TT if the right one came along next time I am looking. Surprisingly good to drive (given they are nearly 20 years old) and they don't hang around, but they are a big car... not as chuckable as a Scoob.... different sort of car though!

Actually I like it even though it suffers from overkill somewhat

Indeed old chap

What i will do is keep it at whatever power it comes as and just look after it unlike the scoobs which get modded every bloody other day in one form or another

A mate of mine builds these up in newcastle, people from all over drop these into him for rebuilds / more power.the last few ive seen were converted to a single turbo and are some of the biggest blowers ive ever seen. Hes going for a 1000bhp in 2013 in his own car.
Obviously only useable at the drag strip but bet you its still fun in a straight line.

If you like a Supra (but not that one please, too chavy!) you may enjoy the Toyota Soarer better.
The Soarer Twin Turbo uses the two turbos together unlike the Supra which is sequential (however I believe you can make them work together) and has the 2.5 1JZGTE lump which loves to rev!

The Supra uses the 3.0 2JZGTE which is a bit more powerful.
Having driven both I think the Soarer is nicer to drive, feels less twitchy then the Supra.

The Auto boxs are very strong on both cars and are are really eager to change gear and are pretty seamless, and you can get the "Supra Stick" which is a manual shift control for the car's automatic transmission.

the Manuals are harder to come by and are more expensive for example you can get a auto Soarer TT for about £1200ish but the mans are about £5kish
after 1997 they went onto the VVT-i which replaced the Twin CT12 turbos for a single CT15B.

One of the biggest issues with them is the coilpacks getting cracks (like mine) and the coilpack clips going brittle, both are due to age and heat, so something to look out for.
I love my Soarer but as far as the handling goes its not Impreza (and i dont expect it to be, its a GT car!) which is why I am wanting another Impreza...but I am keeping the Soarer!

Hope that helps, if you want any more info let me know!

That one looks nice mate, but the rear spoiler looks a little small it doesn't stand out enough. As long as you can swap it for a bigger one should look good.
