M5 i would go for i think. Possibly the rs4 if not. Ive had an S4 before and was a great powerful car but wasnt that much fun to drive. Felt like a business car still.
But as im still a kid id actually buy an EVO 8/9 MR and forge it and upgrade it to about 500 bhp

Has to be an M3. I owned an E46 M3 for 3 years and was the best car I ever owned. So well balanced and you can get them with ever possible option.
Goes like stink and people actually respect you when you drive pull up in it.
RS4 was too slow for me compared to the new V8 M3.
S5 looks good but will be slower than an RS4 and M3.
C63AMG looks good and will be fund but automatic and maybe a bit boring at times.
M5 is for grown ups. Has a lot of poke but heavy and more for motorways, not quite back roads.

I'd rather wait if I was in his shoes and save an extra £5-10k and buy one for £30k you can get one but might be a higher mileage one although they are not that high due to weekend toy for some rich people
The new v8 m3 are good to but never driven one but by the top gear review they are a good toy

I'm surprised no ones mentioned the Lichfield Type 25 impreza?
400bhp out the box. 0-60 3.8 seconds, an is rumoured to reach 184mph would give any super car a run for its money
That would be my choice anyways
Edit..
Just watched Jason Plato driving one. It's actually 415bhp standard.
The impreza has reputation of being quick cars as they are... Which is nice
An in some motoring circles around the globe, one of the quickest point to point cars ever made (that's debatable lol).
But as far as the Type 25 is concerned. Super car performance. Japanese reliability. 4 doors an a big boot....
Mr Lambo would never see it coming
