Self tensioning i believe, the belt is probably tired and stretched over the years, get a replacement and put it on and it will more than likely stop, notice it more in the cold/damp/wet weather, belts aint alot from motoring shops

When I did the Cambelt on my 306 I had the arch liner out of the drivers side and got to it that way pal, but with it being such a small engine in the 306 it is easy to get too, in the 206 on the other hand I'm not sure. I'd say you would probably need too take the arch liner out to get good acces .
