Zero feedbacks normal for a trader as most likely the cars are not bought/more advertised through ebay

I just sold my Jag,that was mint,it had done 130,000miles when I sold it,in 3 years of ownership my repair bills totaled twice the purchase cost, every fault was complex..misdiagnosed time consuming and expensive. For a little bit more I could have bought a low miler,im sure I would have saved a shedload. Theres a lot of things to go wrong on older complex cars, especially well used ones. Not a great idea esp if your fussy.ime

But don't buy a diesel bmw with 170k and expect it to be problem free. Modern diesels cost a fortune to fix these days. Just because it is a BMW doesn't mean it won't go wrong and at 170k, many mechanical items are way past their best.

I don't see why you want that one so much? I'm not being funny by asking this but is it rare in anyway, shape or form or anything that sets it apart from other 330d's out there that haven't got such high miles?
Personally I don't think that example even looks that nice so I would, on the back of the advice from the guys above, look for another one instead. But that's just my worthless opinion lol

Agree to some extent but this seems the norm for BM's. Delusional owners think they're worth the same amount every year no matter what age or mileage. Traders are even worse

Tbh most cars have their faults ,the early e46 330d,s that used to ingest inlet butterflies , , not a good thing ( don't know if the op is aware of this )
it was rectified on later Models around 04 I think
I've had BMW for the last 25 years , all models and they are without a doubt one of the most reliable / easy to maintain /value for money , motors you can buy , even the m models

Find an E90 330d M Sport. Much nicer. Thing to watch out for on the 330d is the dreaded DPF.

Id pass on that purely because of the miles on the clock. Ive had a facelift e46 320 CD m sport before. Great cars in the dry but i wouldnt buy one with over 100k unless it has a very good previous history ect
