Just got to wait a couple more weeks to get a good drive. I drove the S at the Porsche Experience Centre at Silverstone and it was pretty good mine should feel a little bit better as the one i drove did'nt have the PDCC, Carbon brakes or lighter wheels

100k on a car is alot of money and I'm pretty damn sure my missus would blow a fuse if I ever wanted or was in a position to do this....I think ultimately I'd sooner put it in property - but it does look nice and if you have the cash (not credit!) go for it..

Fair play mate.. If you've worked hard and want to reward yourself why the hell not!

Wouldn't be my choice either but then it would be boring if we all drove the same cars!

See that's where you're going wrong you wanna get rid of your missus, spend time on growing your business and then spend it all on yourself and the kids

Some might say that's where I went wrong - corrected it and then took the wrong path again - divorce was a killer mentally and financially - but am very happy now with my new lady and we have a baby due in less then 2weeks...so basically anytime now..

We have nice motors and I'm allowed the impreza as my toy, but I just don't think I could ever bring myself to spending that sort of cash when its not on bricks and mortar.

Like I said though, if you've the cash and no financial commitments stopping you do it...its a lovely looking motor and I bet your buzzing about it...

Lovely car mate and I love the red, makes a change from all the white cars. Also, red is the new white . I just can't believe 30k for the extras. Is that the discounted price or aren't Porsche doing discounts yet .

Did you test drive any other cars as £100k for a 400bhp car does seem a lot?

Its not quite 30k of options as about 6k of those options are non deletable uk options (the basic price is a bit of a con really, i understand that different markets ask for different options but Porsche UK should be selling the car as X amount instead of X amount plus these options) and probably another 8k is must have options. I just went to town with it

The new 911 is such a capable car that there is not really a lot for that money that can do all the 911 does. It had to be a new car, Aston's are a no no for me, Ferrari is too much money and i'm sorry but i'm not paying 70k for a Datsen no matter how fast it goes around the ring

Very nice indeed! I agree that though at first glance it seems expensive there is still no other brand new car that does better for the same money. To beat it you need to look at Ferrari or Lambo and then that is a different price bracket.

Without being rude may I ask whether you took the services of Porsche finance and if so were they competitive?

Happy motoring!

My mate who I work for threw me a set of keys and said I've traded the car in for another Porsche, go have a look it's in the car park! exactly the same as below. I love Porsches though I've never owned one or am likely to I've been fortunate enough to have driven 3 different GT3's though only one in anger the OP's is very nice.

I told them my figures and they worked the budget around it. Basically 30k down and 74k financed at £1160 a month with 45k balloon on 3 years

Can you post some pics up of the rear when you get the car Scott? Also, does the performance exhaust look different from the standard or does it just sound better?

Hmmm, datsun VS beetle.... I know which way I would go Dont blame you for not buying an Aston... depreciation on those is ridiculous!

Still an awesome looking car! Any pics of the interior?

Lovely, but not sure I could part with £100k on a new car. Not when you can buy some very, very nice cars where someone else has taken the initial depreciation hit for you.

Enjoy
