That's a lovely example - I still miss mine and sold it far too cheap 2 years ago! All that needs is a good hoover inside and a tickle of paint on the wheels
Good skills Nick.

I advertised my old one for £900 as it had a couple of niggly issues like siezed rear caliper, worn gear linkages - simple stuff but I was a 1st year apprentice on £490 a month so not economical to throw money at. It also had 150,000 miles on what I understood to be the original bottom end but refurbished heads, was absolutely sweet though and loved to rev
I got 20-30 different people emailing me, some offering peanuts, some full price. In the end I got an offer from a fellow 205gtidrivers.com forum member for MORE than I wanted - basically a Peugeot 106 1.1 runaround 10 years younger and £450
Last year when that 106 was written off (with me driving and my then 37 week pregnant wife-to-be inside), the engineers report valued the car at £950
I sold when there were more to be sold I guess and kinda wish I'd maybe thrown a bit more money at it... ah well

Can almost feel the drive just looking at the pics!
I had a couple. I had one of the early 1.9's with the old style dash and steering wheel, 1987. And A few years later I bought a 1990.
They probably don't feel quite the same now but when they were fresh they felt so sharp, the throttle responce was great low down.

Nice example. I had a 87 1.6, a 88 1.9 and a 1991 1.9. All very cool cars. Sold the last two to make way for the scoob all those years ago.
I regret not buying a turbo technics 1.9 that was for sale - it was sorrento green and I think only one or two that had the proper conversion.
Always wanted a 1.9 turbo. I know its not considered the best way forward but I wouldn't care.
