I think they should do, obviously assuming correct offset, bolt pattern etc...
A few years ago I had a Polo and had ordered some 16" Super Ts and some Eibach springs and was assured they would go on no probs. Unfortunately I never put them on as I sold the car within a few days of ordering the wheels & springs
In the Max P/Fast Car mags there have been Polos on 18s, but obvioulsy with a lot of work.
