ive had a gtst and a gtr not they are nice to drive good for drifting but ugly as hell in my honest opinion, ive ad two evo4s and a evo5 but ive has 13 scoobys lol cant beat the ragability of the scoobys so much more reliable and prettyer on the eye

they are solid engines my mate had a 450 bhp evo and had nothing but trouble with it our beloved scoobys have chocolate bottom ends and if you look at most tuning companys they swear by the rb det power house and most are tuned to well in excess of 7-800 horses

lol like it sounds like a fighter jet, i hardly ever see skylines around.
cant imagine it would be much more to run than the scooby, im lucky as work is only 4 mile away.

I've had two R34's and an R33 gtst. I love them! but as mentioned though, they really do cost a lot to run. I had to sell each one due to running costs. The 33 was slightly less but still more expensive than the Impreza. I've had three impreza's now, but as soon as I've got a little more money i will be straight back in an R34!

I loved my r32!!!!!! expensive to run though... parts for mine were a nightmare, i would have another! the only thing that let me down really was the MAF, but that was fixed with a soldering iron other than that I just had to replace brakes and the clutch (changed to uprated, nizmo i think...). the sound of the the 6 is amazing especially with the HKS induction kit and HKS exhaust
I owned it for about 4 years and the next owner wrote it off
Petrol was about the same as the Impreza really, the only thing I found to be expensive was the parts, having said that though, I owned mine a few years ago and parts are more readily available on ebay and other sites now.....

This was mine that I had for about a year and spent about £8k on in that time. I had a Link ECU fitted and injectors, MAF delete, Exhaust and a few other bits.
It came with:
Forged Engine rebuild by RisingSun Performance including recon'd turbos.
Ray Volks TE37's with brand new Pirelli tyres.
S/steel exhaust with twin Trust downpipes.
Lowered and uprated springs.
Would i have another...no. The engines aren't that bulletproof and spun bearings is common. I have a close friend who's day job is predominantly building engines, turbo kits and head porting on these things and he's never short of work. Im glad I scratched the itch but like I said, I wouldn't have another.

My brother in law has a R33 GTSt thats running 670bhp but having an RB30 bottom end soon to get over 800bhp. Not reccomended as an everyday car or for going long distances though. Very thirsty and noisey, Nice car but feels like a bus after being in a scoob. Id pay a bit more and go for a R32 GTR though.

The funny thing is that , every track day I've been , a 350 scoob could outhandle 450 brake skyline. I know the driver is the most important thing in this case but still . I think their a bit to lazy/big for Uk winding roads. Nevertherless it's an JDM icon that's for sure.

I owned an R33 GTR for 4 years, sadly sold it last year
Mine was running only 1 bar on standard ceramic turbos, 360 bhp at the hubs (430ish at the fly?), but on the 1/4 mile it ran a best time of 11.76 seconds (at 116mph), with a 1.64 0-60ft, which is not to be sniffed at.
My Skyline was the best car I've owned, bar none. If funds allowed I'd have another, but not for everyday driving, it's too big, too thristy and too special for that.
