Default Saw one of them orange m3s today

Ok so the over 100k to buy, apart from being orange and black wheels diff exhaust , why is it so much money.

Either themguy driving has too much money or is a fool, cos it didnt look anything special well not as special as a lambo would have for same cash

I heard they were imports but surely why the 100k tag

I presume you're talking about the M3 GTS and how can you call someone a fool when you've never driven the car??????

maybe it's worth every single penny and you're just jealous!

Harris is not a fan:

& neither is Clarkson (loves it albeit can't justify the price):

I dont think to be honest bud even if id driven it and had the cash id pay 116k for a bmw, that being said it would be one of only 15 in the uk, so maybe he wants to be special.

The stats are pretty dire to says its that much, considering gtrs and porkers are faster and cheaper,

After id posted i wathed the videos and as above not a great car, the guy who drove it obviously must have a lot of spare cash and like very rare premium cars.

What i cant understand is why would bmw ask 116k for a car with gains of just 46bhp and a wee bit lighter id have thought they could have dropped a v10 in and pushed 600s

The reason people spend that kind of money on a BMW is basically because they can! They don't particularly care if it is not the fastest thing out there.

They buy it like someone might buy a nice watch or guitar. It's something to add to the collection........and exclusive.

It's BRIGHT orange and screams "Look at me you have a 3 series but I have the best version of your car............."

Sounds sad and shallow but kind of sums up nicely the materialistic, look at me, wannabe famous for 5 minutes, wealth obsessed, must get ahead of the Joneses', bunch of cretins this society is breeding......and that's the 'nice' lot

Doubt it makes them very happy in the long run though.....

Youve not driven one then. Agreed its an insane amount of money but if you can afford it it's not really an issue

I`d not want one of those for that price either, if I had to have a BMW I'd have a M1.

Exclusivity check.
Head turning check.

funny how so many people can be critical of a car they've never driven.

Strange! As he seems to like it here...

Ok so he doesn't rate it over his GT3 RS 4.0, but then again who would?

Are they littering the BMW forecourts across the country? No.. So I guess BMW knew what they are doing when pitching it at that price...

I think that was a good review, personally i think hes right on the design, bmw just have not done enough in my eyes, the merc is what they should have done, bmw just look like they have shoved a few bolt ons and not made a lot, so yes collectors car.

All look awsome to drive, porker for me then merc then bmw.

But id have to win the lotto lol,
