Cool Nice day today whilst hunting for Porsches....

Had a great day at SGM Performance today. Martin had an Open day, and despite the sh1tty weather (so a few cars inc an SLS decided not to risk it), there was some lovely stuff there.

I'd actually gone to look at some Porsches (in the throws of buying)......

Lovely toys. First time I've ever even touched an F40, let alone an F50..... then a Dino.

great day

Photo of the day for me......

348s are simply BARGAIN Ferarris.

What lets them down is a lot of mis-information about how they handle and drive.

Go kart handling (ie no power steering ) and VERY sensitive to correct geometry setup.
Wrong setup = hellish car to drive.

Have been toying with one, but in my grand life plan, Porsche is next, and eventually a 355 or 360 could be the |next| thing. 348 may be too old to justify.

Some lovely cars there though
