White seems to be the new colour for "trendy" types - looks cool in Santa Barbara not so cool in rundown UK town centre.

I can't understand folk that actually want a TDI convertible. Its bad enough having to have an oil burner in the first place let alone being able to put the roof down and listen to that clatter clatter at the lights.

Have a convertible by all means, just don't by a diesel engined convertible. Plus, if you are buying new you get to enjoy A) overpriced VAG hatchback and B) hideous depreciation.

Other than that, a most suitable purchase

They seem very overpriced to me, a second hand eos would maybe a better option?

I'm not sure Tdi's are cheap to run anymore, and I own one.
The price of diesel is chipping away at the extra mpg and when diesels go wrong it tends to be expensive in my experience.
