I do think you should look at the new shape mx5 especially with the 2 litre engine, they are much bigger inside than the old mx5's.
Alternatives
Audi tt
Boxer, can be had for under 10k if you don't mind age.
Or my personal favourite. Tvr chimera get aa membership though!

Its called typing too fast lol im so sorry mr op
There were the older ones and the facelift ones
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-S200...f#ht_500wt_922
And your wrong ive driven them both cos i was gonna buy myself until we got a dog so i opted for a waggon
Boxster is a nice car to drive but quite heavy handed car with clutch, steering etc and not quick enough for me personally. Its just the badge that people go for, but without a turbo then its not a proper porsche to me
S200 is good in a lot of ways very driver freindly and responsive with the jap chasis and very pleasing when u floor it, and u can floor it all day long and u wont get any problems with the engine straining all the time. So a good car in my opinion.
So in future leave ur immature comments to urself and stay on topic cos ur only showing urself up

I'd say MX5 because I have one.
But to be honest, brilliant handling or not, just so,so underpowered I could cry
Wish I'd bought a Lotus Elise which is what anyone with £10k should do

But if it wasn't for the Boxster, there'd possibly be no Porsche today.
Back to the OP...
Elise is a very good call.

Elise is a VERY good call ...... possibly as much fun as you can have with your clothes on!
Hows about a 350z? Id struggle to buy a ragtop over a tintop, but theyre mighty good cars either way!

Don't chastise someone else for text speaking then use abbreviations yourself!
The original poster has been a little sketchy with his requirements aside from the fact that he only needs two seats. Most of the suggestions (good ones too) are being dismissed. Come on Tenby what are your specific requirements?
