I've read a few articles on the boxster in Track Driver, and even the older ones seem like affordable fun

This electric assist power steering stuff, surely it's mostly psychosomatic. It's still got a physical connection to the rack, the rack still connects to the hubs. The feedback feel is physicaly still there. Instead of a hydraulic pump assisting, an electric motor assists. The way people talk about it, it's like it's fly by wire steerng lol.

My Honda Accord ES Gt has Electric Assist steering and it is one of the best racks iv used. I think people need to drive the particular car in question before jumping on the bandwagon.

My neighbour just bought an older version and took me out for a spin, and even though he's not much of a driver i could feel the potential for a lot of fun, i took him out in my type r once, so theres no chance he would let me drive it.

Way more desirable than a S2000- not that well rated by much of the car press, although plenty of fanboys on here!
