Porsche made me laugh - fekkers!!!
I got a letter and a card in the post the other day.
On the luxuriously printed card it said it was my invitation to the Autosport Show and the Porsche stand in January.
I thought - ooh - that's cool. A bit of friendly hospitality for spending so much money with them.
I then read the letter where it instructed me to call to Porsche totty who would gladly assist me with my reservation and take the payment of £50 at the time of booking.
Cheeky fekkers!

What do you expect?
Customer spend/loyalty doesn't come into it anymore!
(Having said that, I had a great day clay pigeon shooting and playing archery at a fantastic country mansion, with a great 3 course dinner - all gratis from my local OPC )

Well it's obvious really - yes, you've spent a lot of money with Porsche.......
You just haven't spent enough
Bit naughty of them (but then again, what's £50 to a Porsche-owner?

I thought it was an opportunity for all Porsche customers to show their appreciation to the marque for making them such great cars and allowing them to purchase from them, isn't that how it works nowadays?

In Oct I received an e-mail from Nissan inviting me to Silverstone for a sneak peak at the 2012 GTR and the chance to meet Mizuno. Great I thought, how much will this cost? Nowt...petrol there and back!
One of the best experiences I've had, got to take my own car on track for about four 20 minute sessions. Good lunch and had a chat with Mizuno.
Note to Porsche, spend less on the luxuriously printed card's and more on your customers!

Only 20 minutes - how mean - with Porsche got a half days one on one coaching on their private test circuit at Silverstone and then Silverstone itself. And posh lunch for free
They do do this stuff - so why **** customers off by overcharging for a public event and make it look free - double **** off!

There was tuition from the Silverstone drivers, two hot laps with Michael Krumm, slalom, 0-60-0, gymkhana driving 350Z against each other, three course meal and then as much time on track as you wanted in the PM.
Oh and a sneak peak of the 2012 car on a presentation made by Mizuno. Bought a GTR branded Arai GP Jet F helmet for £50 and got Mizuno to sign it
Was given a goodie bag on the way out, A4 photo of me on track in their 2011 demo car, signed copy of Michael Krumm's driving techniques book and some other leaflets.
Not a bad day out for a brand new Nissan customer

I was supposed to do my experience day last Friday but had to cancel.
Will be sometime in the new year now.
Looking forward to the lunch.
