Default One for the BMW intellects

Does anyone know the difference between a BMW E61 touring 530d sport and the 530d m sport?

isnt touring BMW speak for estate? the other a saloon.

touring is the estate version, m sport is a spec, so can be saloon or estate

They are both estates. Both 2005 but one states sport. The other m sport but both look the same!

If it's an M sport then that's what you want as the body kit will look really nice.
I wouldn't buy any BMW that's not an M sport as the normal ones look so bland & dull looking with small wheels.

My old E39 530i M sport.

Sport and Msport should mean same thing. Though you can get an SE with a few sport bits added on. This one seems to be an Msport & good price due to higher miles.
Check Auto box very very carefully. May be worth getting the fault codes checked (especially gearbox) if you know someone that has the equipment. Also ask when was the diesel particulate filter changed & when were glow plugs done. These cars love going through Wishbone bushes, upper & lower (Fronts especially). (check ball joints too). These items can easily add up in cost when replacing, which normally need doing every two years

Just bought one small front wishbone for ours, £250 from BMW, the bigger one is about £20 cheaper though
