Help me find a family car for less than £300 a month
We have got our first child on the way and my wife does not travel lightly so I am looking for a car for her ideally a small 4x4. I would need to get a loan to buy the car or to lease one,
So far we have thought about a 2nd hand
x5 can get a nice diesel for 10k but will cost a bomb to run
X3 can get a nice one for 10-12k and will be ok to run.
We have thought about leasing and have looked at the following
Ford Kuga but to lease they are £380 a month or 21k to buy. We liked this one a lot.
Nissan quaskai nice car but similar money.
Any ideas would be good

We are actually thinking of swapping our X Trail for a Ford Focus and we have 5 year old twins.
Breaking my heart at the moment because the X Trail has just been so good (AND fantastic boot compared to some soft roaders)
Yeti looks good!!

At the budget your talking about the X5 & 3 are non starters as will be too old 2nd hand and too much on lease. The mrs has a Rav4 and is starting to look at a replacement. Kuga looks nice outside but horrible inside and Im not a fan of Ford reliability and the Rav has been bullet proof. She fancies a CRV as a change from Rav but I think even the latest model looks older than it is.
As for space some of these 4x4 have very small boot space. Her Rav (admittedly 3dr) has a tiny boot in comparison to many hatches (inc my Civic Type R).
