Just bought one of these cars and have the opportunity to put different alloys on it (15" or 16"). The car is silver, all colour coded bumpers etc.

Anybody got any ideas??

For many reasons that i wont go into now the car has arrived with steel wheels so there is a opportunity to either fit the standard alloys or go for different ones.

Only prob is insurance goes up 50 quid.

Is it imported or dealer supplied?

50 quid isn't that bad for aftermarket, but isn't the SR supposed to have alloys anyway and thus if you fit the standard ones there should be no charge as its standard spec.

Its imported. The price only goes up with non-dealer fit wheels.

Dave,

"We" got a set of Mille Miglia Chronos 14" wheels fitted to the missus' new car (Yaris GLS) as it came with particularly offensive wheel trims.

Took it down to a tyre place and they swapped the new OE tyres over onto the alloys.

Her car is all silver (colour coded bumpers etc) and they look good - if a little small...

Thanks

Gavin

I have a T-sport.. and what a fantastic little car it is.. I bought it for the wife, (I have an Audi S6) which is all V8 grunt, and I fancies a VVI buzz box.. the Yaris T-sport is superb as a town car and is so well mannered.. you can pull of handbrakes turns and the like.. fantastic!

snap! I forced the wife into a T Sport after she came up with the dreaded line "I want a Yaris"!

I love it to,and you can embarass bigger machinery for all of 30 yards from the lights,so i slam on at that point and pretend i wasn't really racing! (maturely of course).

great brakes as well.
