Default Well the RS6 goes tomorrow but what next????

as title suggests i have sold my RS6 and the guy is coming to collect it tomorrow,so i have 18k sitting in the bank now and have no idea which direction to go next.I have been looking at BMW e92 335s (i know i know,i have been derogatory towards them at times) but they are good all rounders all the same despite being a little drab inside. Are there any other avenues i should be exploring? i have also had a very brief nosey at Jaguar XFs but have no idea about those and the only ones in my budget are quite high milers but they do have ALL the toys

ideas?

Why did you sell up fella? Sounded a great car to me! Can you get the V8 RS4 for that money - my choice if so

i'd love a B7 RS4 but unfortunately they are around the 22k mark now.I'm selling up because apart from the lack of use and only short journeys resulting in 14.9 mpg and also forking out every month for warranty (which is essential on these cars) it was leaving me a little short in the wallet and also probably the biggest reason is that after 6 months i really didnt gel with it.It is an awesome car with ridiculous power and grin factor but it was just sat outside during the week and if i am perfectly honest i want something newer.Don't get me wrong the interior was superb in terms of build quality but it was still based on a 1998 car,but as it was quite highly modded i got a good price for it which is remarkable for a 4.2 V8 twin turbo in todays climate.I just want something that is still quite pokey but a lot more up to date

very nice Tony but its a clattering diesel for one and secondly it doesnt have i-drive which makes it quite plain IMO.I am looking at the 335i territory or something similar,it doesnt have to be BMW by any means just something to satisfy me for another 6 months

behave yourself, you are starting to sound like twateeboy

but seriously i had a 535d before the RS6 and it was surprisingly quiet for a 6 pot diesel and i really liked that car but i had an itch to scratch in the RS6 so i wouldnt rule it out completely.....its just a case of getting the best available for the money and i am in no rush to replace the Audi as i have the Skoda

i'll probably get bored and change again.Recently i have become a serial car changer when in the past i used to keep them for 3 years + I just can't seem to find a car that will satisfy me long tem,i am always seeing cars that make me wonder what they are like to own hence the constant changes

Monaro VXR 500 or just buy a standard VXR and save some of the pennies.

I am guessing you haven't driven a Boxster then?

Superb little cars - maybe not as fast as some - but still fast compared to most, and the noise, and the handling, and the quality, and no lid for sunny days.

Or how about an S2 Elise?

The Mk2 Focus RS is a bit of an underperformer is it not? By all accounts even with a tune to 400hp they are still only luke warm. All show and no go, surely better off with a Mk1 car then, quicker?

M3/RS4 for the money if you can find decent examples

Or how about 1 of the VAG hot hatches, 350hp tune, sh*t off a shovel. Golf Ed 30, S3 or Leon Cupra?

My missus has a Boxster S and its great little car, enjoy driving it more than either of my previous E36 & E46 M3s - only draw back is the lack of space.
