i am interested to know if anyone has tried one of these and what they thought.
i know its not gonna be another Scooby but I am looking to get the tax down on my company car choice. Vauxhall are bringing out a £16.5k SRi Turbo - so its fairly low cost, albeit with relatively high emissions as per the CTR.
Found the CTR a bit noisy for motorway stuff and the Golf PD150 didn't really have the handling I am after. I am hoping this might be in the middle somewhere. Maybe not as quick as the CTR but with a bette ride than the Golf. Help?

They are bringing out a GSI turbo soon, thats mega, 0-60 6's and 153 mph. bet its pricey though

Not supposed to be that mutch more than sri - maybe 18.5k, problem is pics so far suggest it looks almost like standard astra with posh alloys (like from a bigger car).

Apparently the Coupe Turbo is £19k but they are bringing out an SRi Turbo (not a coupe) in May. £16.5k. Emissions put it in the same bracket as the CTR for company car tax. Then they are bringing GSi Turbo in September.
Would like to know what the handling is like if anyone can help me.

Great little motor, drove one at Millbrook last year, sadly we were limited to 100 mph.
