How Good Is The Evo-7 ?

Although the looks have caused people to not like the 7, to drive it is the best Evo to date. It is more grown up than previous Evos, delivering its power in a less manic way, but it is as fast in a straight line and faster through the twisty bits.
What you ahve to understand about Evos in general and the 7 in particular, is that these cars can only be described as very "focused". There aren't a lot of compromises, so, for instance, the ride is very firm. This is why the handling is so good, it isn't a comprimise for comfort. Some people cannot live with it, many can.
All told, the 7 is about the most capable and fun car I have ever driven and the list of cars I have driven is very long indeed! OK, I have an Extreme which takes things to the next level, but even the standrard car is something very special.
