2) It'll hold it's value (probably values will rise)
3) A shortened RS5. Doubt they'll allow this to be mucked up.
Anything else?
Yes. I know a man who thinks it looks great, and is going to ask his dealer to register his interest. Which means IF he gets one, I'll be able to drive it about.

No question - but build quality alone does not a great car make - look at all the other dull as ditchwater to drive Audis there are.
Based on what evidence - show me an Audi that even holds value never mind rise.
Is that right - they allowed the RS5 to be mucked up - and this is a flagship car.

Yeah - but I am not on here saying that a GT3 or Turbo will maintain or increase in value.
I CAN point to a number of 911 models over the past 15 years that have increased (signifcantly) in value. But that wasn't my claim in posting this.
The R8 has performed better than most Audi's but now the shine has come off them - especially the V8.

Sounds like b8llcks, I don't think a production version will get anywhere near 1300kgs, unless you delete ac and all electrics and have really expensive carbon fibre bits.
It also won't be a rival for the regular 911 as the quattro has no back seats, so does that make it a rival for the gt3? In which case it will have to be either better or considerably cheaper.
If it can however be 90% as good as a gt3 for half the price I'd probably buy one

I think there is another problem with it.
It is going to have a five cylinder engine - of course a link to it's heritage - it is the engine from the TT RS. But guessing the price range the competition is all going to have straight six, boxer six or more likely V8 engines. Heritage v. Sexy.
I also find it odd that they have equipped with the GTR lookalike wheels. Maybe that is what they see the competition as.
To win it will need to cost around £60-70k certainly no more, fully optioned. Same price as a well optioned M3, although I suppose the GTR is now a bit more expensive.

Will be more than £60-70K, that's for sure. Suppose it all depends on what they make it out of to keep the weight down. Carbon Fibre is expensive.
Think it'll also be made in limited numbers, so exclusivity is assured.

If it over £100k then it needs to be something a LOT more special than a cut and shut A5 with a TTRS engine in it.
The engine alone leaves it wanting very badly. It puts it as a competitor to the Scooby/Evo gang which is here it all started. At least the GTR has 6 cylinders.
