My latest ride - Volvo v70r
Hi all,
Well I needed a new mile muncher. I've had the BMW 135i since March and already put 16k on it, so I thought it was about time to get another mile muncher otherwise the 135i will be worthless soon.
I had a v70 about a year ago, it was a 2.5T 190bhp job and it was excellent. So this time I thought i'd spoil myself and go for the top of the range v70r.
This one is a 1998 v70r FWD AUTO, perfect for all those miles up the m25/m6! Well not perfect, perfect would be 300bhp and 60mpg, but for £1750 it's a good compromise.
It was an ebay impulsive classic that ended up costing me dear, but hey ho, live and learn..or not! haha
Anyway, it's had a lot of work done recently to get all things working and up to the standard/reliability I need to ensure it wont breakdown anytime soon; doing the 1000 miles per week i'm currently racking up.
Here are some pics:

here are some pics after it's had the wheels refurbished.
It drives so well, you can waft along sitting in comfort, or you can go rather more swiftly planting the right foot down a tad, awesome!
