BMW M3
Went round to my mates today to take some Pictures of his M3! Has to sell it because his Wife is expecting there 3rd Child. He's gutted it's got to go. Needs something bigger and 4 doors.
It's in the For Sale Section on here... Check it out Anyway!
He Let me Drive today Before it goes. WOW
I love it
The Powers there from the off. And just keeps going
The Sports Mode is Amazing. Makes it even more Responsive
Had it mapped aswell so it's alot quicker than others. I'd love it, just can't afford it
Anybody else like them!

I found that it took a while to get used to the M3 because of the different driving style that you have to use compared to my previous cars. Unlike turbo cars you have to rev the M3 but once it's on song it's wonderful, you can't be lazy and use the torque like I could on the Focus ST I had before it.

Thats the biggest difference I felt straight away when I drove my new one is the extra torque , it pulls from nothing where as my E46 needs revving to get the best out of it , and the new 7 speed DCT box is amazing , it's instant lightening quick gear changes

They are amazing...... When I bought mine I drove it back home, got in and put the kys down and just thought to myself "I have just made a very expensive mistake" 1 week later and I just cannot get enough of this car, so much fun, sounds great and really shifts.
It's just a case of getting used to the car and adapting the driving style.

Don't like the gold one but that silver one is a beauty.
As for the E92 - I plan to have one at some stage. Only drawback after the (much slower) 335d is that they are pretty low on torque. However they look utterly fantastic and the V8 is a beaut.
Evolve do a completely bonkers supercharger conversion (or broker someone that does - not sure) which sorts the torque right out!

I agree. If I was in the market for a prestige car like that, I wouldn't go near one that had been resprayed, especially in another colour, even if it was "done properly" with photos to prove it wasn't accident damaged. There are always plenty more original M3's to choose from. Will it affect the BMW warranty for bodywork corrosion etc.?

Fair play to the man that has the *****/cash to respray such an expensive car that has nothing wrong with it. I dont think I could ever do it for the value reasons already mentioned - selling cars when you are finished with them is hard enough as it is. Will look mint if it is anything like the car photographed however
