Hi, just wondered if anyone had any experience of, or knows of anyone who does the turbo conversions on zetecs?
I have a Fiesta si, 1600, I love it to bits but it's just not fast enough anymore but I can't think of anything else I'd rather go buy instead of it, plus I have some very fond memories of it.
This time last year I was all set to get a scoob but now I think I've talked myself out of the idea, I don't think I could cope with the running costs plus I don't like the idea of getting carjacked and I don't have a garage.
So yes, do I turbo the Fiesta and do the suspension and stuff, obviously or do I just buy a fast car to start with? Or just sack it off, get a push bike and buy a house

Severn Valley Motorsport... Did a 450bhp Ford Ka..
What about ramming a focus 1.8 in and tuning that?
And dont say it wont fit, because theres no such word... + can you imagine the cost of the turbo conversion

Also... Scoobys are pooh as standard and would need new wheels tyres, suspension, brakes exhaust and air filter before you start... besides my old 106xsi could handle better than my scoob... but it did have 195x45x15 yokohama's spax suspension and torsion bar dropped about 70mm
Basically modify the fiesta... Cheaper to modify... Ive just spent 600 on an exhaust and air filter... that would have bought me a new engine for the pug...

Have you tried van Arken Developments in Crowthorne in Berkshire? I know they do turbo kits for Ka and Puma from £1175 +VAT. They are all "easy" DIY fit kits.

Hi bob, go to fiestaturbo.com . Loads of people have different conversions to their fezzies. The zetec turbo one is a common disscussion most people on there own si's, rs1800's, and xr2i's aswell as turbo's.

Cheers chaps
600 quids for an exhuast and filter..... that's just what put me off to be honest, it's just too much
The Fiesta already has a zetec in it, I've also lowered it and it's on 195 / 45 / 15's. It's so chuckable, absolutely great fun Besides which I can stop with scoobs in it well, in the twisties at least
I'm a mechanic too, so diy fitting is no problemo, I'd prefer to do it that way actually
Cheers for the links, I'll go clicking now
