Dead Man's Ferrari for Sale
Roll-up, roll-up mentally unstable Dail Mail readers and members of the Royal Family! This one's for you.
How about buying this very low mileage Ferrari 3.2 Mondial cabriolet, which used to belong to the late lamented (but only by his Dad ) Dodi Fayed and then setting fire to it as a futile act of revenge/breast-bashing?
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1923376.htm
Alternatively the pervs amongst you might like to think of it of somewhere that saw a right piece of royal action, so-to-speak.
Anyway, for the rest of us it's a decent price, but a poor colour combination. My wife really likes it though...

Decent price???
I thought these were considered woeful
My friend has a 348 which although by some considered equally woeful looks far better than a Mondial. He's asking not much more for his.

It's a shame he was'nt driving it when they crashed in that tunnel, it would have been one less of Ferrari's mistakes, still driving around offending the human eye!

NB: "normal" mileage ones go for about 21K.

Maybe, but it's all relative. Personally I would rather have a Mondial Cabriolet than say a Mercedes SL from that era. Likewise I'd prefer a 400i to say an XJ-S. None of those are proper sports cars, but all Ferraris are a little bit special in their own way. I may be in a minority, but I actually think both the Mondial Cabriolet and the 400i are quite handsome cars, compared to what others were churning out at the time.
