RS stearing issue
Is there a recall on the RS for a stearing issue?
heard reports of them just randomly shooting off into the bushes due to a fault

I would have thought that most of the fault would be due to the organic controller. As far as I know, very few manufacturers cover this component which is the most unreliable and causes more crashes than all other elements of the car.

isn't it something to do with the fact that all ford owners shoot into the bushes occasionaly, to participate in an activity known as *******
maybe its just a design feature

If you can't spell "steering" (twice) then you shouldn't be left in charge of a keyboard.
Call it trolling if you want. At the same time try applying for a job with a CV full of spelling mistakes.

You shouldn't be allowed on the Internet for your unfunny, pointless posts, he isn't applying for a job, this is a forum, one you should think about taking a break from to save us all the misery that you bring.

PS. Come to think about it, paulwrxboro hasn't posted lately. He has an RS. Maybe he's embedded in a Bush somewhere.

Why does SN attract so many?
"Unfunny?" That appears to have been left out of the OED. Aren't they silly? Not as silly as your typing it would seem.

Not heard about this on the RS models but the STs have 2 potential PAS problems, 1st is the pipes under the car being too close to the subframe and the 2nd being a connection on/near the bulkhead coming loose (so all fluid is lost)
Have you tried the RS forums for any info?

pmsl, i'm not talking about torque steer (ok my speelings **** lol) i mean mechanical failure. Aparently its something to do with the controler for hte power steering, guy i know on another foum has just taken delivery of his replacement provided by ford themselves. so looks like it might be a real issue.
