Default Sub Legacy B4 RSK

Hi there

Anyone had one of these ?? Im looking at one at the moment, 280bhp, automatic, low mileage. Im assuming it's 4x4 ? This one has done 71K.

Anyone got an advice ?? 71K is that cambelt time ?? Whats the fuel / mpg like on this thing ??

Im after a good daily commute, that has 4x4, auto, 4 doors and is reliable.

Try UKlegacy.com that's the place for your answers. I think there is a very nice 2.5one about someplace with lots of goody's on it ?tried piston heads?

I had the earlier GTB - B4RSK is more comfy. Not the easiest things to tune compared to the impretzels

They do 23mpg no matter how fast you drive so stick to 100mph

Hi mate, the B4 Rsk is a fantastic car iv recently sold my Gtb. Only the 5 speed manuals have 280Bhp Autos have 260 and use the Ej20H engine i believe, fuel economy is around 20mpg when taking it easy although it depends how you drive it, i had mine nearly 2 years and had no real issues with it apart from a faulty maf sensor which is pretty common. Try uklegacy.com a good bunch of guys on there.

Oh and it is 4x4 (awd)

hi all. Ive had a sniff around the legacy group. I was reading that you have to have the twin turbo's remapped to use UK fuel or you will ruin the engine. Is this true ?

I plan to use it as a daily commute, but mpg / fuel issues, Im worried :-)

No not really - most people run optimax etc with a splash of octane booster if you want

I ran mine on Tesco 99 without any issues

However a remap will liberate more power and potentially better economy

Can't say I ever used regular unleaded but from what I understand its not advised as it would cause lots of detonation as potentially **** your engine.

I think if your concerned about fuel costs and mpg its prob not the right car, but if you want the power you have to suck it i guess

hi mate i recently sold my legacy gtb facelift estate awesome car so smooth and well built.
my cousin has a b4 RSK is the purple colour he has just sent it to body shop for all small dents and chips to be removed plus refurbing the wheels.
its totally standard and comes with the tiptronic on the steering wheel etc.
oh and the lovely two tone leather seats. cracking stereo.
Anyway he is selling it its a 2001 reg. With..... only! 48k on clock. he is looking for around £4000+
car is ready tomorrow morning.
give me a shout if you want first look before its on pistonheads. I know a standard B4 with this mileage is very desirable so wont expect it to be around long.
he is selling for a diesel.. lol
