Hopefully not a repost (I searched for these pics)

I can't wait to see subaru's version of this car! Hopefully it'll have slightly better exterior styling and a less gundam-like interior.

Gotta say that it leaves me totally cold.
A *very* cheap looking version of the GTR imho. And whilst I wholeheartedly respect the GTR for what an engineering feat it is, I don't like the styling.
Probably me though - gone off the whole Japanese styling thing - too Manga for my liking!! LOL!
On a +ve side, nice to see Toyota designing something sporty for a change - the range has been a little too boring for a long time.
Bound to be expensive, and when IM get their grubby mitts on it, it will be even pricier

I like it and may well buy one as long as it is sub 1200kg and above 160bhp.

From what I have read, it will be underpowered, overweight and all a bit boring. I believe its concept is in the same line as the current WRX Impreza. Trying to go for a market that they cannot crack, whilst snubbing the buyers that would be interested if they had given it a proper amount of power.

I'd buy one.
Not that bothered about "being the fastest" these days, so something like that would be great for cruising up to the lakes on a Saturday, just not sure I could fit a childseat in.

Shame: dozens of photos of the flash exterior and interior of the car, but not one of the coiled up elastic band hidden under the bonnet that they intend to use to power the thing!

They also state that it will be up against the new Capri, the moon is made of cheese and that Elvis is alive and working in a chip shop near Hull.

I don't even trust the date on the cover of Autoexpress and take anything it prints with a bucket of salt.
I do hope they are right about the 200bhp but...well see the sentence above.

Love this car... love the styling.. heard it maybe underpowered like previously mentioned.. but hey - there are sure to be many modifications you'll be able to apply from manufacturers in the future I'm sure to get it up to speed.
Just what the motor industry needs - a breath of fresh air - fingers crossed the consumer gets something close to the concept in my humble opinion
