Probably gonna sentence the wagon to death so looking at possible replacements have a couple of front runners but they are pretty different ends of the car scale, anyone got any experience of either..

Jag XK8 probably 4.0 based on budget maybe a scabby 4.2

or

Aristo vertex V300 ( GS300 with supra engine )

obviously after the scooby both are luxury, thought the XK was tight on interior space compared to its size but surprisingly lively if you used the box manually, havent driven an aristo yet only GS300's so obviously power comments would be meaningless..

Jag looks really quite special and probably feels it too. I suspect buying a cheap one could be trouble though.

The Aristo looks like a dull japanese turd... but it probably much more reliable although getting parts could be tough?
