Default Better than the 123d M Sport?

Is there a better diesel out there that offers better performance and mpg for less than £19,000?

Been looking at the new Skoda Octavia CR vRS TDI for a similar price.

I've been looking but I don't think there is...

I found my 123d did not offer great mpg due to the torque and power being so bloody adictive...

Leon is fugly inside man! Massive pillars and very plastic.

I have looked at the Legacy diesel but again the interior isn't up to much, neither are the options!

True about the 123d but you're still talking upper 30s even when you cane it.

I've got an FR 170, and true the inside is pretty Fugly (was one reason I didn't want to buy one), but it IS slowly growing on me. I love the exterior looks, and goes pretty well even in standard form. MPG is not great for a derv though, if you drive it hard your at 36mpg, average about 42mpg, drive like a granny and you might just manage 48/49mpg if you really try!!!! All in all, great car if you can put up with the interior, but think if I could afford to 'I' would buy a 123D over it!!
