Default Golf VI, Option opinions please

I don't often ask, but I have to pick a new company car, I've ignored all the French family cars and the Fords (I know I should have tried ) avoided the Passat and opted for the Golf VI:

It's a Carat version (in France, it's slightly below the very top spec.)

Two questions:

Colour? €300 for metallic etc

Wheels?

Standard 16" Cleveland
or with Sport pack, 17" Seattle €600 or 18" Vancouver €800

Would you live with small wheels for 3 years? Does the Sports pack add anything? Need to place order early this week.

Oh - will I be in the garage often due to faults? I wouldn't expect for a 28 k€ car..

Haha! yes you will be in the garage due to faults (vw's are not exactly reliable), you really should have opted for the focus, its a better car tbh, but as you have gone for the golf, get everything you can on it (18's look nicer, 17's probably ride nicer), just plan to do some driving in the polo they will give you as a courtesy car

The sales rep were I used to work had one of these and it was a lovely car for what he wanted it to do. He never had any problems whilst I was there and the shape looked nice in the jet black colour he had. I'd prefer to have extra cash in my salary instead if they did that as an option

I looked at the camera, the big screen is standard on the spec. 227 € for half a days entertainment, - where would you spend that type of money?

The Mondeo looked like a good buy, albeit a bit big as I live in the centre of town with no garage, the French are animals when they parallel park..
