Anyone in the South Manchester/Cheshire area got a spare banger/mot failure/damaged car that starts and runs, my lads use an old diesel Metro to drive round a field and its having starter issues so its easier to scrap it and get another than pee about with it. Doesnt matter what it is really but needs to be cheap !

why dont you try ringing round the scrapyards.

I have an old Mondeo 2.0si thats had head gasket failure so probably no good to you but if you knew someone who could fix it?

Capri's are getting expensive, even for sheds.

Chief, cheers for the offer but doing the HG would cost more than a running car probably, need MOT failure or body damage.
