Default My Scooby Replacement

Due to that fact that I am doing crazy mileage at the mo (25k a year)

My mileage was paid by my Co, but I wasn't "making" on it

So I sold my scooby last week (Classic Wagon)

I was going to get a BMW 3 series diesel -- but I just couldn't bear the thought of not having 4 wheel drive

so have gone for an Audi Quattro Sport 2.5 TDI -- (180 BHP)

I will miss the noise and most of all the bonnet scoop -- always made me smile when looking out through the windscreen

but wont miss the 30mpg, I am hopping for 40mpg out of the Audi on a long cruise at 75mph

anyone had one/got one -- thoughts

here we go my new Audi A4 2.5 TDI Quattro

picked up a few days ago, in a perfect world it would have been an Avant

but i think really good value, quite quick (real world driving) and sensible economy

I'm currently driving an A3 2.0 TDI 170bhp and I am having real trouble getting over 40-42mpg ( my calculation, ignore the bollox on the computer).
The real thrill for me is seeing 450+ miles on the tripmeter when I fill up.
Good luck Miss Daisy

that wont make any difference to your fuel consumption. You might end up "making" £5 a week.

The wife used to have a MY03 A6 avant 2.5 TDI SE CVT [163hp] - *and breath* - I enjoyed the V6 lump very smooth great at speed 33-43mpg lovely ride/interior. We fell out with it over the gearbox but hey ho.

Enjoy it!
