Default Time to be jealous

Gentlemen.....

The time has come to bow down and worship me......

Next week (after the APK) I will be picking up and super lush Mercedes 190E 2.5-16V Evo II in mint condition.....

The best bit is that it is being sold to me at far below market value

Hasn't done much mileage has it at 65k miles. You got all the service bills etc coming with it The boot spoiler is fookin huge. I think hamster was driving a red example on TG a while ago, unless it was an evo 1 or something.

Aftermarket bodykit lol, thats exactly what everyone use to say to me when I owned a Pulsar Gti-R, they never believed me when I said it was factory and was standard for the model, you'll get that all the time with the Merc Cossie.

Very Jealous of the Merc, there are much faster cars around but there's something about the character of a rare car like that that makes it look much cooler than most on the road. Its something very special.

What a motor! You do not see many of these around, especially no with mileage like that. I can understand why people think it's an 'aftermarket bodykit'. If you stuck a kit like that on a modern merc, it would be posted straight on BarryBoys.com!

PS - I am a tiny bit jealous!

65k miles or 65k kilometres? The speedometer is still reading in kmph so I would have thought the odometer is still in kilometres.

65k km's is 40k miles.

Great car by the way

I was taking the p**s about the aftermarket kit comment.

I originally saw one of these in a metallic maroon in Stockport town centre when they first come out - it literally stopped people in their tracks!

Nice motor, but there's no way in hell that one of them is worth £46k!!!!

50% of that I could believe, which would still make the 25% paid a bargain.

It's the wheelarches that are REALLY 5h!tely designed though... The only curves on a nice squat boxy car. Sack that man!

Actually, they are really well designed they are there to serve a purpose, the same as the rear spoiler, reducing the drag while increasing downforce

I think the bodykit and spoiler are actually homologation items to allow them to be fitted to the race cars in the German touring car championships (DTM):

The fact a 190 Cossy is a homologation special anyway would justify it having the bodywork it has.
